This gorgeous, bayside engagement session in Annapolis, MD is near and dear to my heart. That dark haired beauty is my cousin, Angela. Her handsome fella is Adam. These two were the very first couple I photographed at the beginning of my photography career. It feels like forever ago and yet I remember it so vividly. A couple had asked me to photograph their engagement pictures. I was filled with excitement and a complete ball of nerves. No more landscapes, potted plants (literally how I tested and learned apertures!). A real life couple! Angela and Adam were sweet enough to play model and let me experiment with posing, lighting, etc. It is crazy to think how far my business has come and style has developed since then and yet its so wonderful to know that they have one of those very first images displayed within their home. In September, these high school sweet hearts will tie the knot. Its going to be one heck of a celebration and I absolutely can’t wait!
Ready to swoon? Because that is exactly what I did the entire time I photographed Ben and Amy’s engagement session at Butler’s Orchard. By this point you have heard me gush about this incredible family farm. Each and every dirt road along the property leads you to yet another charming, sunlit spot. The pair will wed this September and you better believe I am counting down the days!
You may recognize this pair from their engagement and wedding posts last year. Since then, this duo has turned into a trio. Welcome to the world little Rory! They are building their beautiful forever home in Clarksville, Maryland and their soon-to-be residence provided the perfect sunlit backdrop. I absolutely love lifestyle newborn photography sessions using the beauty of the outdoors. They are moment-focused — capturing that undeniable love between parents and their children.
Mike and Kelli celebrated their wedding in Jamaica! A few years following their celebration they asked me to photograph some wedding portraits in Mount Vernon. Kelly put on her gorgeous dress again, Mike – a sharp suit and tie, and together we walked along the beautiful streets of this Baltimore, Maryland neighborhood on a slightly overcast day. Its like the pair was made for this location. The neutral tones and old world feel left me with the biggest smile – hopefully you’ll feel the same after scrolling through these images!
I have been on an incredible photography adventure with this couple! It started with their engagement session. Then came along a boudoir session, their wedding, and now maternity. We even did a session following their wedding day where Erika put on her gorgeous wedding dress (trust me, you want to click that link!) and we explored Tyler’s family farm and captured some of my most favorite images to date.
Tyler and Erika, you have paid me one of the most wonderful compliments ever. I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to document these important life moments. From the bottom of my heart, I truly can’t wait to capture more! Congratulations on your new adventure as a family of three.
