This Maryland engagement session brought along with it the most beautiful rays of sunlight! The kind of light I as a sunflare-loving photographer dream of. Add too it the stunning Kinder Farm Park backdrop, a herd of goats, and one of the sweetest couples ever. I consider it one of those “You had me at hello!” moments.
Rich and Julie’s Brantwyn Estate wedding in Wilmington, Delaware left me saying ‘WOW!”. There were so many incredible moments scattered throughout every part of the day. First, the location…hello romance! Second, Rich’s dance moves…untouchable! Third, family…the speeches at their reception left me with tears – such genuine love! And lastly, the pair. Their love is like kismet, something to be admired. Enjoy some snapshots from their beautiful day!
I have literally been bursting at the seams to share this beautiful family’s portraits that we photographed in the Eastport neighborhood of Annapolis, MD. As a photographer, one of my favorite things to do is scout new locations to shoot. I love the ‘not so obvious’ spots. Hidden gems if you will! I used to live in Eastport and would visit this quiet dock area often. There is something so calming about sitting amongst the boats and watching the sun set over the Chesapeake Bay. Call me biased, but I think the Carey’s suit the location quite well!
If it isn’t already clear from the smiles on their faces, these two radiate happiness to all those around them. Chris and Laura married at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Easton followed by an amazing reception at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. I couldn’t stop clicking! There was always one amazing heartfelt moment after the next to capture. Genuinely grateful to say I was part of the day they said “I do!”.

Meet Nicole and Joe! Naturally, the pair chose the United States Naval Academy for their engagement session as Joe is currently a midshipman. There is something so beautifully classic about the Academy. Buildings of grand stature, history and great pride. We began their session in front of Bancroft Hall and closed their session by wandering the quaint streets of Annapolis leading up to the State House.
